VISITING THE FIELD STUDY CENTRE
Groups wishing to spend time at the Temperate Rainforest Field Study Centre are required to spend a minimum of two nights. We encourage your group to come in through Gold River, using the MV Uchuck. This means arriving at the Mooyah Bay logging camp, some 40 kilometres north of Boat Basin. A truck will meet you and transport you over a logging road to the field study centre.

While this is the most economical way to travel, and one offering a particularly vivid wilderness experience, other options are available.

Please remember that Boat Basin is a very remote location and logistics can be challenging.

For information and to obtain prices, also to learn about how other groups have organized their visits, please contact us.

We would be pleased to customize a visit to meet your particular needs.
